It is in the top 10 list of most populated cities across the country. Phoenix has a hot desert climate. During the summer months, temperatures in Phoenix are over 100° nearly every day. During the winter months, Phoenix is very mild and warm. Winter temperatures average 50 or 60° during the day and in the 40s at night. I rarely have to use my furnace at all during the winter months in phoenix. I make sure that the furnace is ready to go. I contacted a furnace and heating contractor to perform an evaluation service on my furnace. The evaluation service includes a 50 point inspection of the heating and AC equipment. Even if I don’t have to run the furnace during the winter months, I know that it is ready to go. Last year we didn’t have many cool days at all. With mild temperatures and lots of fun activities and things to do, Phoenix is one of the best places for snowbirds to spend their winter season. Some friends of mine visited Phoenix last winter and they stayed for 2 months. They didn’t have to use the heat at all while they were there and the temperatures felt warm like the spring months.
