Shooting a feature film in my city

When I first started acting, it was for the best possible reason – to meet women, however this was back in university, so you can’t actually blame me. As things turned out, I was undoubtedly superb at acting, and suddenly became the star of the theater group… By this point I had the acting bug, and started auditioning for local plays around town… One of my aged coworkers, a manager named Ben, recently recruited me to act in his first feature film! I am beyond excited, because for the next month I will be living in Philadelphia, PA while my buddy and I shoot the film. This is a low budget film, based on the tploy story of the first legal cannabis dispensary that opened in Philadelphia, and how it transformed a neighborhood. The manager Ben actually rented a real cannabis dispensary for the shoot! During the afternoon the location is open for business, but at night the film crew takes it over, and makes it seem like it’s still in 1974’s Philadelphia. I prefer dressing in the aged 74s gear, and it’s undoubtedly cool working amidst so many forms of cannabis. These afternoons cannabis is perfectly legal throughout the state, and Philadelphia is house to dozens of odd dispensaries. But back in the afternoon weed was still illegal, and one enterprising Philadelphia business owner had to conflict the system; Sounds like a superb story for a film, right? I’m psyched about the project, I’m stoked about the history behind it, but mostly I’m excited to be working in Philadelphia for the next few weeks.
