My friends and I were watching Monday night football.
The game was between the Arizona Cardinals, and the Buffalo Bills.
The game had playoff implications and we wanted the Phoenix team to win. One of the teams was going to earn a spot in the playoffs and the other team was going to be done for the year. It was a huge game. We were going to watch the game from the bar, but I wanted to be able to smoke marijuana while we watched the game. Staying home was a better idea. My friends and I ordered hot wings from the bar and we got a case of beer to drink during the game. Things were perfect until the problems with the HVAC unit started. It was mild and temperate outside, but I was running the heater to keep the chill out of the air. The apartment started to get colder and colder. I checked on the furnace and it should have been running. The temperature on the thermostat was 5° cooler then the temperature I had set. I could not figure out why the furnace did not come on. I told my friends that we were going to have to contact a heating company in Phoenix to help with the problem because I was all out of ideas and options. When I brought up the problems with the furnace, my friend Jack said he would have a look. He got the furnace working in 15 minutes. I didn’t know the guy knew anything about heating or furnaces. He actually worked as a heating technician before he opened his own entertainment business.
