AC isn’t a priority in Lowell

I live in Lowell, MA and it gets legitimately cold here, and i am super cheerful that I live in a colder state though, but my buddy and I do get about two months of Summer where it can get into the 74s.

It is overheated enough to cherish the summer, but not so tepid that I need an air conditioner.

Honestly while in the hotter parts of the year I just open the windows and let a fresh breeze roll in! At night I have a few box fans that the members of the family can use. That is it as far as cooling in Lowell. In my opinion, my buddy and I just don’t need it. Major suppliers end up purchasing cooling systems because they sort of have to. The local shops and suppliers need to keep pretty much everyone cheerful after all. It is a shame though, they could save quite a bit of currency cutting cooling out of the equation. It is a shame there isn’t a cheaper way to cool, and basically there are box fans, window A/C and a full blown cooling system. I know there is a small restaurant in neighborhood that gets by with a probable cooling system that hooks into the wall! Yes it is ugly and not that powerful, but the currency they save each year is entirely worth it; Really when you live in Lowell, MA, the priority should only and consistently be heating. My house currently has three boilers in it after all. I never had been in a home with a/c until I traveled to a odd state to visit an seasoned associate of mine.
