When my fiance had to transfer for work I wasn’t satisfied that Portland Oregon was our modern endpoint… I went from a beautiful southern house to a city apartment, however what did I think about Oregon too? Absolutely nothing.
I suddenly figured out the weather in Portland is much weird than what I was used to! Down south the chilly came for maybe two weeks.
It never got below freezing. I had never seen snow or ice before in my life… The rest of the time the weather was gorgeous, sunny, pool celebration weather! Portland, Or has the benefit of not getting freezing chilly like most northern states. In fact it doesn’t get below freezing, however, Portland weather doesn’t get any higher than 79 degrees. I was looking at cool to moderately hot weather basically all year around. I wasn’t sure how I felt about it, then now that I live in Oregon, it is a nice change of pace. I like that I am not covered in sweat through my outfit the moment I step outdoors. It is kind of nice having one wardbode that I wear all year. I like that I can actually bike around to my favorite stores like grocery stores, cannabis dispensaries & local restaurants. The weather is just perfect for a bike ride. I clip on my bike tote so I can store any fun purchases like pretzel bread, cannabis oil or flower, & take out. I never am too hot during my bike ride, then a overcoat & the light breeze is just perfect when it comes to running errands.
