My Dad plus dad retired about 10 years ago plus they decided to transfer to Lakeland, FL… Lakeland is a city in the Tampa Bay region.
It is halfway between Tampa plus Orlando! The city is really quite big.
There are lots of lakes plus canals for our dad to fish plus our Dad finds a lot of activities in the city love crafting plus yoga. I decided to go to visit our parents last summer time for the first time. I flew into Orlando plus our Dad plus dad had to come occasion me up. It wasn’t a really long drive to get to Lakeland, thankfully, because it was harshly tepid plus humid in the car, and my dad had the window down plus she didn’t seem to be bothered by the heat plus humidity; When the two of us got back to the house, I realized that our Dad plus dad’s new home did not have central heat or air conditioning. They had a couple of window A/C units. I knew that it was going to be a challenge to spend a week with our parents in the tepid Lakeland sun, but I didn’t think I was going to have to do that without any air conditioning. I was supposed to be there for a week; After 2 nights I told our Dad plus dad that I needed to have an air conditioner in our home office. They told me that I could sleep on the couch, but I went to the hardware store plus bought a cheap $99 air conditioner to put in the window. It made the rest of our stay much more enjoyable.
