I live in Tampa, FL & one thing I used to do as a child was go to Busch Gardens, but it is an amusement park & is basically all wooden structures.
I loved going as a kid. I had fond memories of eating bad food, riding the unusual machines, & being a bit sunburned! Once I got older it was nice taking a cut from theme parks; As an adult I got to prefer the nightlife & neighborhood side of Tampa. I got to drink, eat good food, & see some local interesting events; Then I became a Dad of three. I have young adolescents that are consistently on me to do things; My buddy and I have gone to the zoo, aquarium, mini golfing, & bowling… Recently I started googling things to do in Tampa, Florida & I found Busch Gardens. Oh my, it begins again; Now my partner & I are regulars at the park again. It is awful being an adult at an amusement park. It is a full time task making sure my adolescents don’t get sunburned. I do not like that the food is unhealthy & I usually pack healthier options. I don’t like waiting around for a cheap ride that is going to make me sick. More often than not I hold the spot in line & my partner is the one that is forced to ride. My buddy and I go basically all summer time to that park. I am thankful that Tampa has so many child friendly things to do, although I wish I didn’t have to do that amusement park all the time.
