I heard there was a MI law.

I had study that MI passed a Clean Slate Law that would out date expungement laws, this is section of their expungement law is for those with marijuana offenses that are no longer illegal under the marijuana laws passed in 2018, my sister lives in Muskegon, MI, despite the fact that I live in another state that is still talking about legalizing recreational marijuana! Under the expungement law, you can ask the court to set aside your conviction if they arrested you for possession of marijuana, use of marijuana, or possession of marijuana paraphernalia, but you don’t have a waiting period to file for expungement of a marijuana conviction

I was interested in a law that I noticed they had passed in Muskegon, MI, but i wasn’t sure if it was statewide, or just for Muskegon, but it made myself and others take notice. You don’t have a limit of how several marijuana convictions that are asked to be set aside. You must go to the court where your arrest occurs, plus they must hear your request for expungement; Once heard, the court can either agree plus dismiss all past charges plus take them off your record, or it can be sent to a odd court. If you were arrested for possession with intent to sell plus plea baracquired down to straight-forward possession, you expungement may not go through because the prosecutor says you don’t qualify, but if all are straight-forward arrests, you may no longer have marijuana charges on your arrest record, however as a teenager, I had several, plus it would be nice to have them taken off my otherwise perfect record.
