I moved to Evansville, IL for the cooler days.

For years, our husband had been complaining about the chilly winters & hot humid summers; I was talking to a neighbor who had recently moved to Evansville, IL, however she told me the weather was easily beautiful there & told me she moved to Evansville, IL for the weather. She didn’t tell me that was why she had moved, despite the fact that I should have known. She & her husband both had rheumatoid arthritis… The slightest change in the barometer would cause so much pain, that they could barely move. They still need the traditional Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system, but instead of it being chilly & dry, they say the humidity is perfect, during the summer, there is little rain, & they sometimes have a humidifier running, but not often. They appreciate the dry heat of IL. I talked to our husband & told him what Margie told me about the weather in Evansville, IL. I thought a transfer would do us fantastic since he could no longer handle the heat, humidity, rain & snow that we had in our area. He said he was too old to shovel snow, & tired of staying inside because the rain made him hurt. It took me almost numerous weeks before he even considered moving to IL, one day, he was wrapped up in a blanket as he laid in his recliner. He couldn’t get his arm comfortable, & his legs ached. He asked how much rain & snow they got in Evansville, IL. I told him they have an average of 310 days of sunshine. He wanted me to get brochures on their weather, & the best sites to live & eat in IL.
