My husband and I were going through a rough patch, so I went to spend some time with friends. I took a 3-hour flight to Chicago, illinois. My friends and I went to University in Illinois. Most of them are still in the city even though I moved. My friends were happy to have me come for a visit. Everyone was sad to hear about the demise of my relationship. My husband and I were supposed to last a lifetime. Unfortunately, we both want different things in life and we did not realize that until after college was over. I really wanted to stay here close to my family and friends. My husband was the one who wanted to move to a different state. After we moved, I barely saw him at all and it was lonely for me to be away from my friends. When my husband and I were having troubles, I wanted to hang out with my friends. I spent several weeks in illinois. While I was there, my friends showed me around. There were some cool museums and art galleries that I have not visited. I got to see an art installation from one of my favorite people. While my friends and I were in the city, we went to a recreational marijuana shop. Illinois has recreational marijuana laws. I didn’t plan to use recreational marijuana on my visit, but I thought it might clear my head and make me feel more relaxed. I bought two marijuana joints from the dispensary and my friends and I smoked one of those joints before we went out to a bar. I felt very relaxed and I was more talkative than I usually am. I met a couple of nice guys and almost took one back to the apartment with me.
