My fiance ensures we have enough gas to run our boiler all winter, but he has our backup generator checked & cared for in case there is a power outage.
He weather proofs the house & caulks around the doors & windows. For me I make sure that we are all in the holiday spirit, then i buy pumpkins, decorations, & trees for the holidays. I set up themed decorations. I also host a substantial dinner for Thanksgiving & Christmas. I am blissful that my fiance ensures that we have quality heat for the substantial meal.
