I ended up getting transferred to Birmingham, Alabama for work; I wasn’t really all that excited. I had never been to Alabama before in addition to I didn’t really know anything about it. I did some research on things I like to do in Birmingham, AL in addition to was bummed that museums in addition to a few botanical gardens is all that came up. Is there really nothing else to do in Alabama than that? My giant historic landmark is the Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark, and they are kind of gross in addition to ugly… So needless to say I was sort of dreading the move. Then I arrived in Alabama in addition to realized there is a pro to this state. The weather is quite nice. The area gets four distinct seasons in addition to nothing is ever out of control. In the Summer the hottest it will get is around 91 degrees, however which is hot, in addition to requires beachwear in addition to AC. But it is only about two months long in addition to the temperatures get satisfactory again. Then the winter time season will be in the 50s during the day in addition to could get into the 30s at evening. That is cold, you need a heater, but it is doable. Snow isn’t that official in addition to cold isn’t natural either. So I could get by with a lower quality heating system if I wanted to. I don’t need a wool coat or muck boots at all. I just need fine layers in addition to a space heating system for those cold evenings. So that is a perk to Birmingham. I will find other things I like to do, I am sure.
