My friend Taylor and I seem to always be in a competition.
Ever since we were young it was always who could do something first and better. Taylor got married, bought a house, and had kids way before me. I made sure to have a better job, then got a nicer house, and a big plot of land. You can really tell where we prioritize our lives. I make sure that my professional life is grand. I have a very cool title, a great car and wardrobe. My friend Taylor has pushed to have a better house. She lives in this grand home that is totally remodeled. She is always tearing down walls and making it better. Her most recent upgrade was to remove all the floors. She ripped up the rugs and got marble put down. She also took that advantage and got electric heated mats installed. The mats were installed under the marble. Now during the winter she has heated flooring. It is seriously cool. I hate to admit it, but she won on that one. Her heated flooring system is super quiet in operation. It doesn’t stir up dust or leave cold spots. It is hidden under the floors so it has no issues cropping up. I own an ancient furnace that makes loud noises and needs a bunch of repairs. It doesn’t heat my house that well either. I now want to redo my flooring and get heated flooring. I would be totally copying my friend though. It might be worth it since her heating system looks awesome.
