Temperatures in the city are rising thanks to global warming

When I moved here 15 years ago, the average summer temperature was not more than 105°

15 years ago, I moved to Phoenix, Arizona and it was the best move of my life. I was living in another city on the west coast where it was impossible to make ends meet. I never had any money and I was spending a fortune just to have an apartment. It wasn’t even a very big apartment. I got a job working at a news station in Phoenix and I bought a three bedroom house. I was single for a long time and then I met my wife. We bought a new house on the west side of Phoenix, closer to the place where my wife works. When we bought the new house, we had to install a brand new HVAC system. That was only 5 years ago and my wife and I just had to contact another Phoenix HVAC provider to look at the system because it doesn’t seem like the air conditioner is working very well. The Phoenix HVAC provider suggested that we have to buy a brand new air compressor. I don’t understand how we could need an air compressor again already. It has to be these problems with global warming. Each year the temperatures and Phoenix seem to get hotter and hotter. When I moved here 15 years ago, the average summer temperature was not more than 105°. Now during the summer 105° seems like a cool day. Sometimes temperatures reach 115 or 120 when you are standing in direct sunlight. I’m almost ready to sell this place and move to Denver or Boise where it is colder.
