My best friend works at a law firm as a paralegal.
She was working on Thursday when there was a meeting between a brand new business owner and the lawyer.
The owner of the business and restaurant offered to give out free tickets to anyone in the office for the grand opening celebration that night. My best friend called me when she got the tickets and she asked me if I wanted to go to the show. I was thrilled that my friend called to ask me to go to the Jacksonville restaurant. She picked me up that afternoon around 6:30. The grand opening was already starting and we had reservations for 7:15. We drove all the way to Jacksonville and traffic was still pretty heavy even that late at night. When we reached the area where the restaurant was located, we realized that they were offering valet service. My best friend had the valet park the car and the two of us felt like we were royalty. The new restaurant had a lot of lights outside. It looks like the opening of a club. The lighting made me excited for the grand opening. Unfortunately, the new restaurant could have been cleaner, nicer, and definitely cooler. The bathrooms were dated and old and not very clean. Alos, it didn’t feel like the air conditioning system was running at all. It’s important to have a good air conditioning system when you have a business and restaurant. I can’t imagine this company will last long if they don’t figure out a way to fix all of the problems.
