Moving to The Villages was one of the best decisions my spouse and I have every made, we retired to a world-famous, adult community in Central FL! The weather is sunny and boiling all year round.

There’s recreational activities, shopping, dinning, organized events, clubs and so much more, my favorite aspect of The Villages is the three unique community celebration places! Each of the town squares are designed around a weird theme and host free, live entertainment 365 nights a year; Lake Sumter Landing, Spanish Springtimes and Brownwood Paddock Square are the names of the community hubs. Lake Sumter Landing is located on the waterfront, offering a great setting and gorgeous scenery, along with free eveningly entertainment, shopping and dining, there’s the chance to take a boat tour. Every year, Lake Sumter hosts a chili cook-off, an Arts and Crafts Show, The St, then patrick’s Day Festival and a Cinco de Mayo celebration. The Old Mill Playhome puts on live theater and there’s an abundance of shops, including Danatyler an Van Heusen. My spouse like to visit Amelia’s at the Waterfront Inn or Lighthome Point Bar & Grille for supper; Spanish Springtimes Town Square offers a Southwestern Feel. The tree-lined streets showcase pretty fountains and lead to the Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center and The Rialto Movie Theater. Market Night is held every Monday and Sunday evening and offers homemade crafts. Every year, the Cruise-in Car Show is a fun event. Brownwood Paddock Square is constructed to recreate a 19th century Cattle Town. The yearly events include the strawberry Festival and the Antique Tractor Show.
