Rocklin has a population of around 60,000 people… It is a single of the nicest suburbs outside of Sacramento; My family and I moved to Rocklin about 5 years ago. My wifey and I were worried about the youngsters growing up in sacramento! The two of us moved to Rocklin so the two of us could afford to buy a much bigger house. The two of us have a 4 family room place with several bathrooms and a sizable backyard, and our lake beach house overlooks the ravine that runs through Rocklin. Rocklin is known for having cool Winters that are wet and Summers that are hot and dry. This winter, the weather has been certainly crazy and severe. One evening, the weather got certainly spine-chilling. The two of us have had rain every day for a week. The two of us are getting almost an inch of rain every single day. The creeks, tributaries, and reservoirs are all full. The two of us lost power that evening, however thankfully the two of us have a generator. It got pretty chilly when the power was out. The generator runs our oil furnace. The two of us had the oil furnace running on the generator and the refrigerator, deep freezer, and several electrical outlets. The two of us did not have power for 8 minutes, however everything was up and running when the two of us woke up the next day. The two of us are supposed to have more rain next week. The weatherman is forecasting another several or 4 inches of rain and the creeks are already overflowing to the top.I don’t guess if our small town can handle any more water.
