My girlfriend and I scored tickets to go to a concert in Tampa. The Tampa concert was held in a venue not too far from a couple of nice hotels. Since the concert didn’t start until 8:00 p.m. We knew it was going to be very late when we were driving home. Instead of trying to drive that late at night, we decided to get a hotel room instead. We didn’t make reservations early. We waited until the day of our trip to find a hotel. By that time, most of the Tampa hotels were already booked up. We need to find anything close to the music venue at all. We were stuck getting a room closer to the interstate, about 10 miles away from the concert venue. When my girlfriend and I showed up to check into our hotel room, we had to sign a bunch of paperwork and forms. I’ve never had to fill out so much paperwork for a $75 hotel room. At least the AC unit was blowing ice cold air. The AC unit looked practically brand new. My girlfriend and I set the temperature on the AC unit to 70° and we had to turn it up halfway through the night because it was so cold. The AC worked better than the one we have at home. The bed was pretty comfortable too, and both of us slept great. We woke up the next morning and drove back home. Next time we go to Tampa, I’ll be sure to book a hotel room ahead of time.
